The DOJ Just Launched the Largest Denaturalization Surge in American History – It’s Only the Beginning

American citizenship is the most precious thing this country bestows. The Trump DOJ just announced it is treating it accordingly — and the criminals who lied their way into it are about to find out what that means.

The Justice Department filed 25 denaturalization complaints in the two weeks since July 20 alone — the largest coordinated denaturalization effort in the history of the Department. Since January 20, 2025, a total of 123 civil denaturalization complaints have been filed. Acting AG Todd Blanche put it plainly: “U.S. citizenship is one of our nation’s highest privileges, and it must be obtained lawfully and honestly.”

The individuals targeted are not sympathetic cases. The DOJ identified them as having committed “serious offenses — including attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature, and aggravated sexual assault of a child.” These are people who concealed violent crimes, sexual offenses against children, fraudulent identities, and other disqualifying facts from federal immigration authorities in order to obtain citizenship they never should have received.

They lied. They got in. And now the federal government is going to get them out.
