A CHILLING diary has revealed Lindsay Clancy repeatedly wrote of “horrible thoughts” while tracking powerful psychiatric drugs before she killed her three young children.

One entry screamed “HORRIBLE thoughts” in capital letters, with the final word underlined for emphasis.

The handwritten page was shown to jurors at Clancy’s murder trial in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on Wednesday as her ex-husband Patrick returned to the stand.

Clancy carefully recorded her Valium and Seroquel doses alongside notes about her sleep, mood and worsening mental state.

The diary was written as Clancy cycled through what her defense describes as an excessive cocktail of psychiatric medications prescribed by several healthcare providers.

She was prescribed 13 different psychiatric drugs during the four months before the killings, although that does not mean she took all of them at the same time.
