A Democratic senator from Georgia who has been mentioned as a potential 2028 contender for his party’s presidential nomination revealed his plans during an interview with former Biden flak Jen Psaki on Thursday. Sen. Jon Ossoff, who is running for reelection this year in what would be his second term if he wins, told Psaki he’s focused on that alone and has “zero interest” in running for the White House. “I have zero interest in running for president in 2028. I love serving the state of Georgia. I’ve got two young daughters,” he said.
