There’s This: Comey’s Own Family Called His ’86 47′ Post a ‘Call for Violence’ — and Said He Belongs in Prison

Former FBI Director and all-around traitor to our governing order James Comey just had a family member rat him out over his problematic threat against President Donald Trump, the guy who fired him for disloyalty.

The man who spent years positioning himself as the conscience of American law enforcement now has a family member on record calling his Instagram post a threat against the president’s life and saying he deserves jail.

Court records from James Comey’s federal prosecution reveal that a relative sent a text message to Comey’s wife Patrice calling the seashell “86 47” photo “a call for violence no matter how you spin it.” The message went further: “You should be ashamed of yourselves. I am thoroughly embarrassed to have ever defended the absolute coward that is your husband. You and Jim are some of the least accepting, most hypocritical people I’ve had the displeasure of knowing. I hope Jim goes to jail for his crimes.”

“Call for violence.” “Coward.” “Goes to jail.” These words came from inside the Comey family — not from conservatives, not from Trump supporters, not from political opponents. From someone who knew him well enough to feel personally embarrassed by him.

The court documents reveal something that makes Comey’s “I didn’t know what 86 meant” defense completely unsustainable. Two minutes before he posted the seashell photo, his wife sent him a screenshot of a cropped definition of U.S. English slang indicating that “86” means to get rid of or refuse service. He knew there was controversy associated with the phrase. He posted the seashell image anyway. Then he deleted it “later that day” — after receiving the family member’s text.
