The DOJ Just Launched the Largest Denaturalization Surge in American History – It’s Only the Beginning

The broader immigration enforcement picture confirms the administration means every word of it. ICE had its best month ever in June — more than 43,000 illegal aliens booked into detention centers, the highest monthly total since Trump’s second term began. The DOJ is simultaneously running the largest denaturalization surge in history. The DHS is cross-referencing voter rolls against immigration databases. The State Department has implemented new bond requirements for green card applicants. The ATRC just heard its first terrorism case in 30 years. The entire apparatus of American immigration law is being enforced simultaneously for the first time in decades.

Democrats spent years telling Americans that immigration enforcement was cruel, racist, and unnecessary. The people being targeted for denaturalization — the ones who concealed murder attempts and child sexual assaults from federal investigators to fraudulently obtain citizenship — are the argument against that claim.

Citizenship is not a consolation prize for people who lied their way in. The DOJ just made that clear in the strongest possible terms.

It’s about time. Thank you, President Trump.
