Michael Strahan hits back at critics of his Chris Johnson interview as Fox NFL star says – ‘not for me to grand-stand’

The study, led by researchers at Harvard University and Boston University’s CTE Center, looked at 19,423 athletes who played in the NFL between 1960 and 2019.

“Ultimately, this study provides additional evidence suggesting that NFL athletes are at increased risk of ALS and suggests that this risk may increase with more years of NFL exposure,” the authors noted in summarizing the findings.

Johnson was the NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2009.

A three-time Pro Bowler, he rushed over 2,000 times during his ten-year career, scoring 64 total touchdowns.

As well as the Titans, who drafted him 24th overall, Johnson played for the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals.
