Buc-ee’s admits ‘not a decision we made lightly’ as it confirms service dropped from ALL locations

“We previously had phones in the stores, which were answered by cashiers.”

“When cashiers were on the phone instead of waiting on customers, this made the customers angry, so we thought it would be better to direct comments to the website,” Buc-ee’s explained further.

It’s not the only rule that Buc-ee’s has implemented to avoid any negative interactions with guests.

For instance, they cannot get cash refunds should they decide to return any general merchandise.

Buc-ee’s only accepts exchanges.

“General Merchandise (except for game cameras) may be exchanged if in new condition and with all original tags, for General Merchandise (not gift cards) of equal or greater value,” the return policyreads.

“Slightly consumed food may be exchanged for the same item when the original item does not meet our standards.”
