Attorney General Todd Blanche was asked about it on Fox News and didn’t mince words. “It’s disgusting that a district attorney in Philadelphia, who, by the way, has a city with its own problems, is so focused on what the president is doing at the White House,” Blanche said. He added the national security framing that Krasner and the 150 congressional Democrats filing legal briefs against the project keep deliberately ignoring: “This isn’t just about a safe, secure place for the president and his family and world leaders. And the fact that you even have a local district attorney, instead of focusing on his own city’s problems, his own city’s crimes, talking about ‘blowing it up’ is reflective of how divisive and unfortunate the Democrats have made this issue.”
