FIVE children separated from their families by the brutal war in Ukraine are finally back in the arms of their loved ones after a fresh humanitarian push by Melania Trump.

The First Lady helped secure the emotional reunions involving Ukrainian and Russian youngsters, marking another breakthrough in her campaign for families torn apart by the conflict.

The White House announced from Washington on Thursday that all five children had been safely reunited with relatives.

It is the fifth group brought home through the initiative led by Melania and her representative since the effort began last year.

“While diplomacy and peacebuilding are important to this effort, they are surpassed by our collective ability to place children above international disputes,” Melania said.
