70,000-square-foot Buc-ee’s with 100 fuel pumps now under construction and will be first-ever in state

As of July, those jobs are now available to thousands of Ruston residents.

Applications are now open for positions such as Human Resources Field Representative and Assistant Deli/Food Service Manager, among others.

The Human Resources Field Manager position offers an hourly rate of $27 with full benefits, including medical coverage, a 401(k), and three weeks of paid time off (PTO).

Assistant Deli/Food Service Managers are paid even more at $37 hourly and receive the same benefits.

Between 200 and 250 permanent jobs will be created in total at Louisiana’s first-ever Buc-ee’s travel center.

More openings will be announced in the coming months, and the company is known to host a large multi-day hiring fair in local communities.

Cashiers, stockers, cleaners, and food service associates typically get paid a minimum of $17 per hour, which is well above the federal minimum wage rate of $7.25 that Louisiana still follows.
