His total cholesterol measured 143, down dramatically from 223 in 2018. Doctors attributed the improvement in part to medications including rosuvastatin, which helps lower LDL (“bad”) cholesterol while increasing HDL (“good”) cholesterol, and ezetimibe, which further reduces LDL levels.
