“I’m going to be honest, maybe I’m just sensitive … but I felt like that was a swipe at what’s going on in the United States between Donald Trump and Iran,” Schofield said.

“When he’s talking about global issues, I don’t think that’s a direct swipe at ex-prince Andrew, but I’d suggest she might be a little bit more worried about what’s going on at her back porch,” she added.

However, it didn’t take long before he made a shocking claim about King Charles and the conflict with Iran.

Donald Trump claims King Charles “agrees” with him over ‘Iran’s nuclear weapons’ Charles had not mentioned Iran specifically earlier on during the trip, nor in his speech to Congress. He only said the “conflict in the Middle East.”

However, Donald Trump claimed Charles supported him over the Iran crisis, something he previously also stated.

“We’re doing a little Middle East work right now… and we’re doing very well,” Trump said over a toast at the lavish State Dinner.

“We have militarily defeated that particular opponent, and we’re never going to let that opponent ever, Charles agrees with me even more than I do. We’re never going to let that opponent have a nuclear weapon. They know that, and they’ve known it right now, very powerfully,” he continued.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman told The Sun, “The King is naturally mindful of his Government’s long-standing and well-known position on the prevention of nuclear proliferation.”
