The DNC’s response to all of this has been to borrow money and ask vendors to hold their invoices. Compare that to the Republican position. MAGA Inc. with $400 million. RNC with $128 million. NRCC with $92.7 million. NRSC with $55.9 million. Total Republican committee and allied infrastructure: $677 million. Total Democratic infrastructure: roughly $136 million. Five-to-one financial advantage for Republicans heading into the most consequential midterm in a generation.
The generic ballot has moved from D+7.4 to D+5.3 in six weeks. The registration bloodletting has produced a 4.5 million voter shift since 2020.
