California currently has eight ICE detention facilities with a combined capacity of nearly 9,000 people. The two Trump just purchased are the largest. And CoreCivic has confirmed it’s in active discussions with ICE about selling more.

Newsom wanted a sanctuary state. He’s getting federal detention centers he can’t close, can’t regulate, and can’t touch.
