Clinton is telling the next Democratic president to build a bigger, more deliberate, more organized version of that. And to purge anyone who might replicate what Trump is doing to the existing one.

The hypocrisy is layered and total. Democrats attacked Schedule F — Trump’s executive order making it easier to remove civil servants who obstruct presidential directives — as an assault on the nonpartisan professional workforce.
