Once the hearing concludes, 2nd District Judge Tony Graf will decide whether prosecutors have established probable cause for the case to proceed to trial

The proceedings will be open to both the public and the media, the AP noted.

To move the case forward, prosecutors must show there are reasonable grounds to believe Robinson committed the crime—a significantly lower legal standard than proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt at trial.
