“I, for one, am going to do my best to be around, to keep doing the most good I can, for a lot longer,” he said.

An aide to the former president told the Associated Press on the condition of anonymity that Mr Clinton had a urological infection that had spread to his bloodstream. The aide said he is on the mend and never went into a septic shock.

“His fever and white blood cell count are normalised and he will return home to New York to finish his course of antibiotics,” said Alpesh Amin, chair of the Department of Medicine and executive director of hospital medicine at University of California Irvine Medical Centre.

“I am really glad to be back home. I’m doing great, enjoying this beautiful fall weather. I’m on the road to recovery,” Mr Clinton said in the video.

The former president also had important advice for those listening to his message: “I want to remind everyone out there: Take the time to listen to your bodies and care for yourselves. We all have work to do and each of us has an important role to play in life and in the immediate future.”

The first explosions shattered more than buildings. They also shattered the belief that the conflict could still be contained. As jets from the United States and Israel reportedly struck targets in Iran, the world watched a dangerous new chapter unfold.

Inside Tehran, military commanders rushed to assess the situation. Allies across the region reacted cautiously, while global markets immediately felt the shock. One question quickly spread across governments and households alike: would this escalation trigger a wider war?

The strikes were part of an operation reportedly named Operation Epic Fury, described by U.S. and Israeli officials as a major effort to weaken Iran’s military and nuclear capabilities.

Officials from both countries argued that the operation targeted infrastructure they believed posed an imminent threat. They said the strikes were intended to prevent future attacks and disrupt critical military systems.

Images and videos circulating online showed damaged compounds and destroyed air-defense installations. At the same time, Iranian state media claimed that some missiles had been intercepted and warned that retaliation would follow.

Iranian leaders responded with strong language, promising what they called “devastating revenge.” The statements raised concerns that the confrontation could escalate beyond a single round of strikes.

Behind the scenes, diplomats from Europe and other regions quickly began urging restraint. Several governments warned that further escalation could destabilize the entire Middle East.

Meanwhile, ordinary families in cities such as Tehran and Tel Aviv waited anxiously for news. Many checked their phones and listened for sirens, unsure whether the night’s explosions would remain an isolated event or mark the beginning of a much larger conflict.

A fire at a biscuit manufacturing facility near Trikala, Greece has killed four workers, with authorities still investigating the cause of the early morning blaze. Investigation Status

The fire broke out around 4 a.m. at the Violanta biscuit factory, located approximately 200 miles north of Athens. Thirteen workers were present during the overnight shift when the blaze erupted.

What Happened

Eight workers evacuated safely from the facility. Four bodies were recovered after firefighters gained access to the building, and one worker was initially reported missing as search operations continued.

The Hellenic Fire Service deployed approximately 40 firefighters and 15 vehicles to the scene. Thick smoke spread across the surrounding area, with flames visible along sections of the factory roof.

Seven people, including one firefighter, were transported to nearby hospitals for evaluation and treatment. Authorities have not released detailed information about their current conditions.

Greek officials have not yet determined the cause of the fire. Early witness accounts described hearing a loud sound before the flames erupted, but authorities have not confirmed whether an explosion preceded the blaze or resulted from it.

Investigators are expected to examine electrical systems, machinery, and stored materials as part of their assessment. They will also review surveillance footage and maintenance records to determine what triggered the fire.
