Colombia’s deputy minister of multilateral affairs, Mauricio Jaramillo Jassir, praised her as a “symbol of resistance” against so-called ‘fascism’ and credited her with championing the Palestinian cause in the U.S.

Gerardo Fernández Noroña, president of the Mexican Senate and a member of the Morena party, criticized the treatment of migrants in the U.S. during the Trump era, describing it as a form of unjust persecution.

He condemned the practice of targeting individuals solely based on their immigration status, skin color, or nationality, calling it “infamous and wrong.”
