In the meantime, Erika has continued to focus on her role within TPUSA while also taking on additional responsibilities in conservative political circles.

Reports earlier this year revealed she had been selected for a position on a key advisory board connected to the US Air Force Academy, following an appointment linked to the Trump administration.

White House spokesperson Olivia Wales praised the appointment, calling Erika a “perfect choice” to continue Charlie’s legacy.

Erika opened up about motherhood and family

In spite of the political headlines surrounding her life, Erika’s most emotional interview centered on something far more personal: the family she and Charlie dreamed of building together.

The couple shared two young children — a three-year-old daughter and a one-year-old son.

Erika shared that they had always planned to have a much larger family.

During a recent interview with Megyn Kelly on SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Channel, Erika reflected on how differently she now views motherhood and time.

“When I see young couples, I tell them please, don’t put it off,” she said.
