Carson Daly breaks silence after he’s replaced as The Voice host by Keke Palmer for new season

Carson was splitting his time between hosting the primetime show in Los Angeles and serving as an anchor on Today in New York City.

He also wanted to scale back on traveling for work obligations to spend more time with his family.

The veteran TV host has been the face of the show since its start in 2011 and the only host throughout its 30 seasons.

While Carson was getting a hefty paycheck for the gig, Keke won’t be earning as high a salary.

An insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Keke will earn “just a fraction” of Carson’s salary, making closer to $2 million for her debut season.

She will also not have a producer credit, unlike Carson, who was making nearly $6 million per season, including his hosting and producer fee.
