Carson Daly breaks silence after he’s replaced as The Voice host by Keke Palmer for new season

NBC is launching a spin-off of the long-running singing competition series, Celebrity Voice, in which the contestants are already famous and perform in front of three judges, rather than the typical four.

“There’s a lot of new twists and turns,” Carson said about the new format, before praising Keke for taking over his hosting duties.

“I am not the right host for it. We have a NEW amazing HOST! The triple threat queen @keke who is PERFECT for it!

“I’m so grateful she carved out the time in her busy career to help us out. We’re all big fans & welcome her to the family,” the TV personality wrote.

Carson also confirmed that he isn’t leaving the franchise entirely and will serve as a producer for the spin-off.

“Many today have asked if I’m leaving the show. Nope. We’re gonna try out these 2 formats this fall/spring & see how it goes!”
