Eyewitnesses described “apocalyptic” scenes. Fires burned for hours. Emergency services raced to respond. Iranian state media showed plumes rising over the skyline.
Meanwhile, Iran launched fresh missile barrages. Some hit near Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities. Air defenses intercepted most, but impacts caused injuries and damage.
