New IKEA featuring 3,250 home products will look dramatically different

A BRAND new Ikea store is on the way, set to replace a former Dick’s Sporting Goods store – and the upcoming furniture destination will look dramatically different than the Swedish company’s traditional spots.

The homeware location will sell 3,250 products and 250 furniture items in-store, but in a much smaller format than Ikea shoppers are used to.

The new 80,000-square-foot store is expected to arrive in Cleveland in the spring of 2027, much to the excitement of locals.

The Swedish home and furniture chain’s smaller footprint location will open at Crocker Park in suburban Westlake, measuring in at a fraction of the size of its typical 200,000 to 500,000 square feet showrooms.

The upcoming Northeast Ohio store will mark Ikea’s third location in the state, after shops in Greater Cincinnati and Greater Columbus.
